Dear Gran Tourismo,

I remember when we first met. It was about 20 years ago in 1998. You were the hottest game in the Navy base I was stationed on. Everyone I knew played you.

When I first booted you up I was lost for a few minutes doing. I was doing the license tests to be able to race. It was boring but I stuck with it, and I was rewarded for my patience. The actual racing was the best that video gaming has ever seen. Nothing held a candle to you. The racing was as real as it could get. The career mode had progression unlike anything the racing genre had ever seen up to that point. It was almost RPG like.

You had tons of cars. Not only did you have tons of cars, but you had the actual makes and models of each car from around the world, each with its own specs. I had never seen anything like this before. Most games before you only had a few cars that were like weird Chinese knock-offs. But you had the real thing. Actual license to use the real cars straight from the manufacturer.

Not only did you have the real cars, but I could completely customize them for how I wanted to race? Mind blown! I actually had to look up what a camber angle is and what transmission ratios were. But you made it a bit easier in this world without the internet we have today. You not only gave me an instruction manual, but you gave me a book to teach me what all these adjustments are.

Most people would complain about how few tracks there were, but it was just right for me. It let me get really good at the few you had versus getting ok at many.

With each iteration, you improved on this formula. Adding upgrades to cars, tracks, music and UI in your second game just a couple years later. I still have my original game save on my PS1 memory card from GT 2. I no longer have my PS 1 connected but I think the date on that save with a ton of hours into it was November of 1999. With GT 3 you added A-spec mode. Another game changer for racing fans. It was clear at this point that you were...
Hi, all. I don't normally make threads, so hear me out.
In my leisure, I create a variety of sounds. Beats, if you will. I'm not a professional yet and I don't really have the proper equipment, but gotta start from somewhere.
I would appreciate it if you guys followed me on Spotify and if you feel like it, give my music a listen (and if you're feeling generous or just willing to donate towards a broke-ass student getting proper DAW and other music making equipment, you can buy the music).

Hi everyone, as you've seen we now have a discord integration with the forums, in the next few weeks I will work on further implementation of the features.

- Role integration between Discord and the Forum:
When we first moved to discord it was cute to assign people colors and roles but with the growing membership it is becoming very difficult to manage what this addons will do is if you are registered on the forum you will automatically get the role Wastelander assigned on discord. I will be looking further to add more roles that will replicate between the forums and discord

Please head to the External Account Page to link your discord account to your forum account.

Thank you!
I will try to make this short and sweet. First you must have finished the campaign and reached level 20. All but IO have a quest line that unlocks an exotic weapon quest, and they are roughly straight forward.

Strum (Kinetic) exotic hand cannon - This is the one you get from Nessus and its pretty easy as it can be done completely solo. First Finish the Relics of the Golden Age mission and you will be given Drang, an energy sidearm. After that it will ask you to;
-Decode 5 Legendary Engrams
-1 Exotic engram
-Kill 10 fallen on Nessus
I would recommend holding on to that first exotic engram you get after completing the main story quest line. After you get done with this step its pretty much just killing enemies without reloading and then kiling 10 powerful fallen (Anything with an Orange bar or higher) This all must be done on Nessus, and all the kills must be done with Drang and must be done by you and no one else in your fireteam
After you have done that...
